Sadbhavana Diwas at Guru Nanak National College Doraha

Doraha, August 21, (Amrish Anand)To mark Sadbhavana Diwas, the Youth Club, Red Ribbon Club & nss unit of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha, under the guidance of Principal Dr.Sarvjeet Kaur Brar organized Sadbhavana rally & Poster Making Competition. Around 30 students participated, creating posters reflecting the theme of harmony.Rein (B.Com I) secured the first position, while Arohi Nishad (B.Com I) and Kirt (B.Com I) shared the second place. Simranpreet Kaur (B.A. I) and Sanjna (B.Com I) jointly bagged the third prize. Nigam Yadav (B.A. I) received the consolation award.The event was coordinated by Prof. Deepali Arora, Prof.Shweta Thapa, Prof.Jaspreet Kaur, and Prof. Simranjit Kaur. The nss unit led by Dr Lovleen Bains, Prof Amandeep Cheema and Dr Gurpreet Singh organised a sadbhavana rally with the help of nss volunteers in the town.The volunteers spread the message of peace and harmony and exhorted the townsters to live in coordination and shed all sorts of hatred and ill will against each other.The College Management Committee President S. Harpratap Singh Brar, Executive Member Mrs. Roopinder Kaur Brar, other office bearers, and Principal Dr. Sarvjeet Kaur brar congratulated the team for the successful organization of the event.
