NSS Department organized a program under the Government of India's Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Rajpura, August 17 (Rajesh Dehra ) Under the leadership of the Principal of the local Patel Memorial National College Rajpura, Dr. Chander Parkash Gandhi, the NSS Program Officers Dr. Mandeep Singh, Dr. Vandana Gupta, Prof. Avtar Singh, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Prof. Daljit Singh and Prof. Nandita, the tricolor was hoisted in the college campus courtyard under the Government of India's Har Ghar Tiranga campaign on the occasion of Independence Day. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Chander Parkash who while addressing the students, said that on August 15, Independence Day is being celebrated on a large scale by hoisting the tricolor in every house of India. He said that India is celebrating its 79th Independence Day and this independence has been achieved after many martyrdoms, a large part of which has been of the people of Punjab. The program officers of NSS said that various competitions related to Independence Day will be organized for volunteers. On this occasion, Dr. Gurjinder Singh, Dr. Harinderpal Kaur, Dr. S. S. Rana, Harpreet Singh Coach and about a hundred volunteers of NSS were present.
